Everyday around every corner this is what you would see if you lived in Southeast Alaska. The trees stretch as far as they can down the beach and the seaweed climbs as high as it can up the beach. It was a great day to get out and go for a walk. As I climbed along the beach I stopped to get some Goosetongue, many local harvest from the beach, a realized that this was what it looked like around every corner. It did not matter where I was, this is what it looks like. It might vary a little, add some sand, add bigger rocks, it really does not matter. The Tongass meets the sea some place.
