It was the end of another day and we went out in the boat for a afternoon cruise. Since the seas were calm we went out to St. Lazaria to watch the puffins and whale watch in Sitka Sound. When we arrived at St. Lazaria there was a troller anchored up for an afternoon nap. It is not uncommon to see them taking a earl afternoon nap, so that they can fishing the morning and evening bit. It makes for long days, but when your fishing opennings are only a few weeks long, you fishing as hard as you can. Since it was the middle of summer all the snow on Mt Edgecumbe had around melted, so I waiting until top was covered by clouds. Original photo taken June 23rd, 2005.
